He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Deming; his daughters, Ann Cox (Kevin) and Maria Sanders (Cam); his grandchildren, Renee Walker (Josh), Ryan Cox (Rachel) and Tyler Cox (Carley); and his great grandchildren, Noah and Olivia Walker. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
