He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Neil and Florence Oldfield Henry; his aunt Margaret Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Alice Gillogly.

He is survived by: his wife Gaye; his daughters, Tammi Trawick of Hoover and Karen Caldwell (Brian) of Sanford; and his grandsons, Philip and James Trawick.
