He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Austin Holyfield, Sr. and Sarah Jane Gibbons Holyfield; his son Reginald Holifield; and his siblings, Matthew Holyfield, William Holyfield of Calloway Holyfield, R. C, Jacob Holyfield, Willie P. Wood, Bertha Robinson and Frances Robinson.
He is survived by: his brother Esau Holyfield; his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Kathy Holifield; and his granddaughters, Farrah Holifield and Haley Holifield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
