She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Goodroe and Lelius Goodroe; her husband Johnson; and her sisters, Joyce McGibboney and Jean Gunnels.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Murray (Gray) and Elaine McGarrah (Scott); and her siblings, Janice Kish, Dorothy Singer, William Goodroe (Lana) and Richard Goodroe. She is also survived by her two daughters, their husbands, six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Methodist Church (130 Broad St, Buena Vista, GA 31803).
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in memory of Barbara to the Buena Vista First Methodist Church (130 N. Broad Street, Buena Vista, GA. 31803) or to the charity of the donor's choice.
