She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Strickland; and her parents, George Austin and Rebecca Drusilla Aldridge. She is survived by: her daughters, Gina West (Chuck) and Rhonda Brown; her grandsons, Garrett West, Gary Brown and Chris Brown; and her brother Frank Aldridge. She is also survived by her daughters and grandsons.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
