She was predeceased by: her husband Joe F. Gillespie; and her daughter Cindy Cannon. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Phillips of Lake Charles, LA, Deborah Cole of Trussville, AL and Patricia Bing (Charles) of Trussville, AL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
