She is survived by: her daughters, Willie Ruth Jones, Cynthia Spivey and Karen Gorman; her grandchildren, Maurice Gorman, Marsha Gorman, Tonya Gorman, Candice Walker and Kelvin Jones; her sister Kumye Adams; and her son-in-law Maurice Owens. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (4 Bond Spur Rd, Camp Hill, AL 36850).
