She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Sherrod and Howard Franklin Smitherman. She is survived by: her husband James Dudley; her sons, Jermaine Dudley (Stacey), Dion Dudley (Melinda) and Brian Dudley; her grandchildren, Salea Dudley, Dion Dudley, Jr. and Bryson Dudley; and her siblings, Sandra Robinson (Edward), Janice Hutchinson (Dwayne) and Michael Carter.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Poole's Funeral Chapel (1501 7th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1220 Hattie St, Birmingham, AL 35214). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Caffee Community Cemetery.
