He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen E. Beaton and Donald Beaton; his wife Constance Beaton (Wesorick); and his sons, Tad Jerald Beaton and Kevin Beaton.

He is survived by: his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Arlene Lukso; his children, Todd Beaton (Karen) and Andrea Mickaels (Kirk); his grandchildren, Jake Beaton (Hannah), Hope Cutchen (Will), Adam Beaton (Kate), Christopher Beaton and Blake Beaton; his brother Mark Beaton (Michaele); and his siblings-in-law, David Wesorick (Bonnie), Dale Wesorick (Nancee) and Donna Neureither (Richard). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
