He is survived by: his wife Loretta Hudson; his children, Madeline Matthews (Calvin) of Atlanta, Georgia, Doretha Vessel (Charles) of Virginia, Carl Hudson, Jr. (Tashia) of Birmingham and Christopher Hudson of Texas; his sisters, Robbie H. Beasley of Miami and Patricia H. Reese of Birmingham, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Mary Langham Hudson of Birmingham, Alabama. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
