It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lee Slaughter (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Joseph Merrill Lee and Linda Wellons Lee; her siblings, Donna, Mark and David; her husband Carl Morton Slaughter, Jr.; her children, Brian (Margie), Blakeley (David), Adam (Brooke) and Justin; and her grandchildren, Sam Slaughter, Linley Splawn, Ben Splawn, Brooks Splawn, Celia Slaughter, John Dalton Splawn, Henry Slaughter and Hall Slaughter.
