He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Noble Hughes, Sr. and Olive Francis Hughes (Joiner); his wife Mary Sue Hughes (Grill); his son-in-law Cliff Prosser; and his grandson Jonathon Shane Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Tina Hughes Prosser, Vicki Hughes Phillips (John) and Noble Hughes III (Sylvie); his grandchildren, Eric Phillips (Natacha), Mary Prosser, Alexianne Hughes and Thomas Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Maggie Phillips, Charlee Kate Phillips and Mayer Phillips.
