He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edgar Stephens and Gertrude Ella Whaley Stephens; and his brothers, Roger Stephens and Ralph Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Floy Stephens; his sister Katherine Bishop (Billy); his daughters, Debbie Huston (Mike), Joy Lynn Golden (Paul) and Kathy Oaks (Joe); his grandsons, Michael Huston (Lauren), Peyton Huston (Mary), Logan Golden (Lauren) and Griffin Oaks (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Tyler, Mae Huston, Hunter, Travis, Bryce Golden and McKenna Huston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Liberty Park (12001 Liberty Pkwy, Vestavia Hills, AL 35242). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Liberty Park Liberty Parkway (12001 Liberty Pkwy, Vestavia Hills, AL 35242).
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Church at Liberty Park , 12001 Liberty Parkway Vestavia Hills, AL 35242.
