She was predeceased by: her father Rev. James Edward Kindall, Sr.; her siblings, Colona Kindall, James Edward Kindall, Jr., Calvin Kindall, Sr. and Cynthia Elaine Kindall; and her grandson James S. Bowen, Jr..
She is survived by: her mother Wilma Lee Kindall; her children, Larnetta Williams, Rodger Williams, Jr. and James Bowen, Sr. (Porcia); and her grandchildren, Shannen, Terry, Kourtney, Sydney, Evhan, Jaydin, Jeremy, Jimaya, Jacoby, Karderrius and Janiyah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Grace Missionary Baptist Church (1945 Center Point Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35215). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (1230 Warrior Rd, Birmingham, AL 35218).
