He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dennis Lindsey and Geneva Sue Smith Lindsey; and his siblings, Sterling, Nathan and Norma Jane Yount.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lindsey; his children, Amanda and Donnie; and his granddaughter Ainslie. He is also survived by nephews and a niece.
