It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Ray Davis Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Davis, Sr. and Mary Wilson Davis; his sister Rebecca Lowery; and his son Larry Earl Davis. He is survived by: his wife Frances Ann Evans; his daughter Lynda Ytzen As; his grandchildren, Emily Davis Olson (Zach), LeeAnna Adams Melton (Jacob), Katherine Adams and David Adams; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Wyatt Olson, Phoebe, Samuel Melton, Marlie Sutherland, Kaylin, Tyler and Millie Adams.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2209 Lakeshore Dr, Birmingham, AL 35209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
