With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Earlean W Roberson in Birmingham, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Earlean left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Wiginton and Alvin Wiginton; and her sisters, Willodean Sullins, Beatrice Harris, Inez Crow and Lorene Irvin.
She is survived by: her husband Dale T. Roberson; her sons, Gregory Roberson and Darrell Roberson (Eleanor); her grandsons, Forrest Roberson (Mary Caroline), John Roberson and Joseph Roberson (Sarah-Beth); her great grandchildren, Beau, Jack, Hank and Duke Roberson; and also, Brian Atkins (late Kathi) and Sheri Fitzgerald (Lee). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church (309 Raleigh Ave, Homewood, AL 35209). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Earlean may be made to Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church, 309 Raleigh Ave., Homewood, AL 35209 or Woman's Missionary Union.
