It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Bertram Marx (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Moses Marx and Marion Adler Marx; his sister Jane Marx Levy; and his wife Margot Kessler Marx. He is survived by: his children, Edgar Bertram Marx Jr. (Marion) and Katharine Simon Marx (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Edgar Bertram Marx III, Griffin Adler Marx and Samuel Decker Marx; and his niece Marion Levy Lapidus (Brad).
