He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth T. Newman; his brothers, Jack and Edward; his children, Amanda N. Cook (Jack) of Avalon, CA and Jonathan (Nancy) of Trussville; his grandchildren, Jackson Cook (Sara), Elizabeth Cook Merchant (Michael) and Carley Newman; and his great grandchild Emily Jane Merchant. He is also survived by his sisters, brothers, parents.
