He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Francis Allen, Sr. and Jessie Marion Allen; his brothers, Raymond W. Allen, Ernest F. Allen, Jr. (Spiz) and Harold Clifton Allen; his son Ronald Eugene Allen (Jacquelyn); and his granddaughters, Renee Allen and Shaylyn G. Dawson.

He is survived by: his sons, Ray Allen (Kim), Eddie Allen and Lynn Allen (Melanie); his grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Ronald Allen, Zachary Allen, Kayla Allen and Lynsey Banks (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Eli, Tristan Allen, Mason Allen, Victor Allen, Grace and Peyton Dawson.
