We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Emma Jean Clopton in Birmingham, Alabama, born in Sipsey, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, James J. Clopton (Annalynn), Eddie Clopton Jr. (Dianna), Major Robert Clopton Jr. (Michelle), Phillip Clopton, Ashley Clopton, Priscella Amerson, Herman Clopton III, Tara Colston, Katrina Colston, Yolanda Smith, Eric (Keke), Ladavid Clopton (Rakia), Ladarius Dixon (Megan) and Maeghan Watkins; and her goddaughter Sharon Nation. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church (349 Colony Rd, Hanceville, AL 35077).
