He is survived by: his mother Goneba Ratchford Taylor; his children, Carol Taylor-Ali and Daryl Martin Taylor; his grandson Naji Amir Ali; his brother Marvin Taylor (Linda); his niece Dr. Michelle Owens (Jody); his nephew Marvin Taylor, Jr.; and his uncle Monroe Ratchford. He is also survived by 2 great nephews, one great niece, and a host of cousins, classmates, and friends.
