He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses McElroy and Edria McElroy; his former wife Jessie Thelma Wilks; his brother John Sydney McElroy; his son Euel McElroy Jr. (late Bonnie); and his stepdaughter Theresa Burton (Joey).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hollingsworth McElroy; his children, Ruth Brucker (late Alan), Beth Watters (Ruben), Sula Gillespie (Allen) and Jesse McElroy; his stepson Randy Hollingsworth (Kim); his sister Mary Lou Bell (late Ernest); and his brother-in-law Quitman Liner. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Euel may be made to the Gideons International to provide Bibles to those who need them.
