Hull and Lawrence Connery; his nephews, Richard Hull, Mark Hull and Greg Hull; his granddaughter Caitlin Courtney Zech; and his children-in-law, Richard Charles Zech and Heidi Marie Connery.
He is survived by: his wife Marie-Louise "Weesee" Barrier; his children, Sean Michael Connery of El Paso, Texas, Kelly Marie Zech of Western Springs, Illinois, Christopher Patrick Connery of Chicago, Illinois and Kathleen Connery Dawe (Christopher Joseph Dawe) of Washington, D. C.; his siblings-in-law, Louis J. Barrier (Carole Barrier) and Karen Connery; his niece Ellen Hull; his nephews, Adam Connery and Matthew Connery; and his grandchildren, John Francis Zech, Conor Patrick Zech, Harper Louise Dawe and Mary-Agnes Dawe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2 Xavier Cir, Birmingham, AL 35213). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He was also proud of his work in organ donation, helping restore sight through corneal transplantation.
