He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Collins and Becky Collins; his sister Kay Brannon; and his grandparent Verlia Young. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stewart Collins; his daughters, Jamie Selman (Dave) and Andi Wilbanks (Brian); his siblings, Jeannine Edgeton (Doug) and Lee Thatcher; his grandchildren, Cole Selman, Payton Darnell (Matt), Samuel Wilbanks, John Daniel Wilbanks and Ella Kate Wilbanks; and his great grandchildren, Easton Darnell and Collins Darnell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the New Horizon Memorial Gardens (5203 Hollis Goodwin Rd, Dora, AL 35062). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
