He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Coleman and Viola Bressler; his children, Cindy Coleman and Gary Coleman; and his sisters, Betty Joan Francis and Edith Coleman.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Coleman; his daughter Robyn Hendrickson; his siblings, Alice Scalzo, Miriam Morris, Billie Ann Lukesh, Rita Jean Morgantini and Charles Bressler (Darlene); his stepchildren, Gina Stevens and Derek Gunn; and his grandchildren, Thomas Hendrickson, Garrett Hendrickson (Isabel), Joshua Oldham (Heather), Hannah Oldham, Azaline Adkison (Liam) and Gabriel Stevens. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
