He was predeceased by: his parents, George Warren Barber, Sr. and Julia Weinbrenner Ludington Barber; and his siblings, Lynn Ludington Woehle (Fritz Woehle), Joan Ludington Hicks (James Johnston Hicks) and Frederick.
He is survived by: his child Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. He is also survived by his seven nieces and a nephew.
