She was predeceased by: her husband John "J. C." Lackey; her parents, Allen F. Johnson and Mattie P. Johnson; and her brothers, Allen Johnson and John Johnson (Jack).
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Pellegra (Gerard) and Cynthia Lackey (Michael Jolley). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
