He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Kress, Sr. and Mary McClendon Kress. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Harris (Robert) and Alice Clarey (Benjamin); his nephew Robert Harris; and his nieces, Zanaida Wade, Zanis Hill and Zynda Harris.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive S. W., Birmingham, AL 35211).
