He is survived by: his sons, Greg Chapelle and Slade Chappelle (Amy Sport Chappelle); his grandchildren, Jacob Chappelle (Brittany), Matthew Chappelle, Ana Chappelle Massey (Hayes), Maddy Chappelle Purvis (Chandler), Lily Chappelle Moore (Braden) and Tucker Hannah Chappelle; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Chappelle, Emma Chappelle and Lainey Ray Purvis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
