With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isabelle Carey (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Isabelle's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Mildred Smith; and her husband Raymond H. Carey. She is survived by: her friend Rick Phillips; her niece Suzi (Tommy) of Tyler, Texas; and her caregiver Dartland Dunbar.
A broken hip in 2017 and her age made her a severe fall risk, and the pandemic that followed changed her life to keep her homebound.
