He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Jean McDonald; and his brother John Reginald McDonald. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Dr. Tee Hansford Hiett and Monterey Kirby Hiett; and his sibling's children, Lynne Monterey Hutton, Deborah Hiett Valenti (Matthew), Kathy McDonald Luck (Norman) and John McDonald (Helen).
