He is survived by: his siblings, Debora M. Davis, Lamar Mitchell, Rose Marie Greene, Felicia McBride and Regina Ward; his wife Marilyn Toney; his son Arque M. Mitchell; Arque M. Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tower Christian Church (2165 Old Springville Rd, Center Point, AL 35215). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (1230 Warrior Rd, Birmingham, AL 35218).
