She was predeceased by: her parents, William Palmer and Ellen Lorene Rawls (West). She is survived by: her husband William C. Byrd, Jr.; her daughters, Allison Pearce (Nate) and Amanda Byrd; her grandson Palmer Pearce; and her sister Lisa Woods (Gary). She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
