He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edwin McCreless. He is survived by: his wife Alethea McCreless; his daughters, Jessica Bailey Hynes (Stephen) and Hannah Whitley McCreless (Autumn Birtcher); his grandson Arlen Leopold Hynes; his mother Jessie Marcelle McCreless; and his sister Shannon Woods (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lebanon United Methodist Church (925 County Hwy 42, Oneonta, AL 35121).
