He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Askew, and Inez Askew, Sr.; his father-in-law Jim Mayhan; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Mayhan. He is survived by: his wife Dana Mayhan; his children, Lauren Gidley (Andrew) and Drew Askew (Carla); his grandchildren, Calleigh, Katelyn and Oliver; his brothers, Jimmy Askew (Varina), Mo Askew (Kathy) and Woody Askew; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Mayhan (Amanda) and Mark Mayhan (Wendy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
