Tolbert, Larena Michelle Jackson (Lamonte) and Alphonso Barber (Regina) of Birmingham, AL; his daughters-in-law, Dr. Martha Barber and Nove'Barber of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, William Tolbert, Jason Tolbert, Karla Clarke, Kanisha Clarke, Dupree Sauls, Jamal Sauls, Ashley Brown, Jacqueline Griswold (Tevin), Tara Cunningham (Walter), Tenisha Baskerville and Felicia Parker; his great grandchildren, Kyler Jackson, Kaulin Jackson, Kaylin Jackson, Hillary Smith (Corey), Ashley Dunlap, Harmony Sauls, Cameron Sauls, Raelynn Sauls, Kaiyah Clarke, Kaydon Clarke, Tariq Griswold, Avery Cunningham and Addyson Cunningham; and his great great grandchildren, Samson Parikh and Tra'vyon Lee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at 7600 Division Ave, Birmingham, AL 35206. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Zion Memorial Gardens (501 Tarrant Huffman Rd, Birmingham, AL 35217).
