She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Dow McAdory and Noah McAdory; her husband Morris Howard; her daughter Bridgette Starks; and her siblings, Arthur Dan Mostella and Janet Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Morris Donald Howard and Deric Leonard of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Keyonia Goston, Antoinette Bass, Candice Bass, Morris Howard, Jessica Fowler, Mayia Williams and Tre Lumpkin of Detroit, MI; and her son-in-law Bill Starks of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Forest Crest Cemetery (5730 US-78, Birmingham, AL 35210).
