It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Buckley of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Prior and Mary O'Brien Prior; her former husband Marion G. Buckley Jr. (Jerry); and her brother Jack Prior (Catherine Prior). She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Buckley; her sons, Wayne G. Buckley and John Gerald Buckley (Kristina); her grandchildren, Marti Buckley, Bryan Wayne Buckley, Katharine Lane Buckley and Payton Buckley; and her great grandchildren, Buckley Kilpatrick, Lima Salas Buckley and Cy Augustine Milby. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1728 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209).
