She is survived by: her children, Joseph Washington (Tina), David Washington and Leigh Karagas; and her grandchildren, Alexandria Karagas, Stephanie Koch (Gary), Victoria Karagas-Andrews (Toby), Olivia Karagas, Danielle Washington, Laura Cordova, John Miranda (Hannah), Cody Hobgood, Rebecca Hobgood and Hallie Hobgood. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Blount County Animal Adoption Center, reflecting the deep care and compassion she always had for animals.
