We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2023, at the age of 86, John Montgomery Crawford in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon Crawford and Martha Seay Crawford; his brother Cleveland S. Crawford; and his wife Virginia. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Cleverdon (Edwin); his stepgrandchildren, Hamilton Cleverdon (Maegan), Elliot Cleverdon and Josephine Cleverdon; and his cousins, Sara Elizabeth Craft and Jim Crawford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the patient fund at Kirkwood Life Care Fund, which provides financial support to residents whose funds will no longer support their stay at Kirkwood, or to the charity of your choice.
