He is survived by: his children, Brandon Knowles, Marsha McElveen (Tim), Jammie Knowles and Paula Knowles Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Nic McElveen (Janna), Savana Glover (Johnny), John Cody Northcutt (Rachel), Owen Heath Knowles (Madeline), Trevor Knowles Whitehurst (Kathleen Powell) and Charity LeeAnn Knowles; his great grandchildren, Emberlin, Charlie, Max, Scout McElveen, Eden, Zane Glover and Maverick Northcutt; and his sisters, Olean Catrett and Ava Mason.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of Christian charity.
