He is survived by: his wife Jo Carolyn Crowell (Ponder); and his siblings, James Tracy Crowell (Sydney Ponder Crowell) and Bonnie Jean Crowell Frost.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Hill Memorial Park (35036 AL-21, Talladega, AL 35160).
