He is survived by: his wife Ann Robinson Brown; his children, Elizabeth Brown Grantham (Michael) of Birmingham and John Thompson Brown, Jr. (Shane) of Atlanta; and his niece Dr. Mary Louise Hemmeter of Nashville.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral Church (2017 6th Ave. No., Birmingham, AL 35203). A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
