With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joice Henson of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Hester and Leary Hester; and her husband Albert B. Henson. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wood (Glenn) and Todd Henson (Tonya); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Ashley, Amber, Jason and Allyson; and her brother James Hester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
