With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce M. Hattaway of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce M. Hattaway to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Hattaway; her parents, Willis Macon and Sarah Macon; and her siblings, Billy Ray Macon, Willis Macon, Jr., Carl Macon and Debra Morris.

She is survived by: her children, Sheri Crowson, Lawrence Viles, Marcus Hattaway and Joshua Hattaway; her siblings, Philip Morris (Ellen) and Ethel Troxell (Bobby); her grandchildren, Kristin Bice (Jimmy Brady), Frazier Bice, Brittany Bice (Cody Brasher), Ewan Viles and Logan Viles; and her friends, Steve, Donnie, Roger and Jane. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Research.
