She is survived by: her children, Nicole Fields (Christian), Travis Jones and Jeremy Jones; her grandchildren, Javeon, Jackson, Isreal, Christian, Xavier, Braylon and Paris; and her siblings, Fernando Smith (Charlene), Deborah Young (Tommy), Jacqueline Smith, Cynthia Larkins, Jennifer Smith and Sandra Carl. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who were blessed by her encouragement.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Brighton Cemetery.
