She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Boxley Roberts Sr. and Jean Gammon Roberts; her brother Nicholas Boxley Roberts Jr.; and her nephew Rob Kappus. She is survived by: her husband David E. White; her children, Sidney DeRamus and Rebecca Hughes; her grandchildren, Nicholas Hughes and Julia Hughes; her sister Sally Kappus; and her pet Pearl.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Thomas Episcopal Church (2870 Acton Rd, Vestavia Hills, AL 35243). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shelby Humane Society, 381 McDow Road, Columbiana, AL 35051, in Julia White's name.
