We announce the death of Katherine Elizabeth Spencer (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 72. Katherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Anne Whitt Spencer and Roy Spear Spencer; her aunts, Virginia Poole (Albert) and Inez Stewart (Bob); her cousin Bobby Stewart (Fran); and her pet Toby.
She is survived by: her brother Steve (Lynne); her aunt Kaky; her niece Emily; her nephew Dylan (Sarah); her great-nephew Whitt; her cousin Mitch Poole (Becky); and her pet Gracie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Huffman Baptist Church (700 Huffman Rd, Center Point, AL 35215). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
