With sadness, we share the passing of Keith Aaron Hattaway (Birmingham, Alabama). Keith, born on December 31, 1962, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Ruth Dewberry and Billy Joe Hattaway; his grandparents, Bertie Talton (Mawmaw) and J. C. Dewberry (Granddaddy); and his brother-in-law Brandon Munn.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger Pinson Hattaway; his children, Amelia Evans (Josh), Joshua Hattaway (Holly) and Olivia Steed (Lawson); and his sister Pam Munn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UAB Palliative Care Unit in Keith's honor.
